चाहे आज़ादी का पर्व हो या हमारे देश के वीर जवानों की शहादत, राष्ट्रगान (Rashtra Gaan) जन-गण-मन (Jana Gana Mana) को पूरे दिल से गाया जाता है। भारत के राष्ट्रगान (Indian National Anthem) को श्री रबिन्द्रनाथ टैगोर (Rabindranath Tagore) जी ने 1905 में लिखा था, वहीँ जन-गण-मन को 1950 में भारतीय संविधान द्वारा राष्ट्रगान का दर्जा हासिल हुआ। राष्ट्रगान हमेशा सावधान अवस्था में और खुले मैदान या बिना छत वाली जगह में खड़े होकर गाना चाहिए। राष्ट्रगान जन-गण-मन गाने में 52 सेकंड्स का समय लगता है। संविधान ने इसे 24 जनवरी 1950 को भारत के राष्ट्रगान (Indian National Anthem) के रूप में स्वीकार किया था। राष्ट्र गान को सर्वप्रथम 27 दिसम्बर 1911 में कांग्रेस के कलकत्ता अधिवेशन में गाया गया था।
Whether it is the festival of Indian Independence or the martyrdom of the brave soldiers of our country, the national anthem Jana Gana Mana is sung with all the respect. The National Anthem (or Rashtra Gaan) of India was written by Shri Rabindranath Tagore in 1905, while Jana Gana Mana got the status of National Anthem by the Constitution of India in 1950. The national anthem should always be sung in an alert state and standing in an open field or a roofless place. It takes 52 seconds to sing the national anthem, Jana Gana Mana. The Constitution adopted it as the National Anthem of India on 24 January 1950. Rashtra Gaan was first sung on 27 December 1911 at the Calcutta session of the Congress.
