Pushpanjali Mantra Lyrics in Hindi

• प्रथम: मंत्र
  ॐ यज्ञेन यज्ञमयजन्त देवास्तनि धर्माणि प्रथमान्यासन् ।
  ते ह नाकं महिमान: सचंत यत्र पूर्वे साध्या: संति देवा: ॥
  

भावार्थ

देवों ने यज्ञ के द्वारा यज्ञरुप प्रजापती का पूजन किया। यज्ञ और तत्सम उपासना के वे प्रारंभिक धर्मविधि थे। जहां पहले देवता निवास करते थे (स्वर्गलोक में) वह स्थान यज्ञाचरण द्वारा प्राप्त करके साधक महानता (गौरव) प्राप्त करते हैं।

• द्वितीय: मंत्र
  ॐ राजाधिराजाय प्रसह्य साहिने।
  नमो वयं वैश्रवणाय कुर्महे।
  स मस कामान् काम कामाय मह्यं।
  कामेश्र्वरो वैश्रवणो ददातु कुबेराय वैश्रवणाय।
  महाराजाय नम: ॥
  

भावार्थ

हमारे लिए सब कुछ अनुकुल करने वाले राजाधिराज वैश्रवण कुबेर को हम वंदन करते हैं। वो कामनेश्वर कुबेर मुझ कामनार्थी की सारी कामनाओं को पूरा करें।

• तृतीय: मंत्र
  ॐ स्वस्ति, साम्राज्यं भौज्यं स्वाराज्यं
  वैराज्यं पारमेष्ट्यं राज्यं महाराज्यमाधिपत्यमयं ।
  समन्तपर्यायीस्यात् सार्वभौमः सार्वायुषः आन्तादापरार्धात् ।
  पृथीव्यै समुद्रपर्यंताया एकरा‌ळ इति ॥
  

भावार्थ

हमारा राज्य सर्व कल्याणकारी राज्य हो। हमारा राज्य सर्व उपभोग्य वस्तुओं से परिपूर्ण हो। यहां लोकराज्य हो। हमारा राज्य आसक्तिरहित, लोभरहित हो। ऐसे परमश्रेष्ठ महाराज्य पर हमारी अधिसत्ता हो। हमारा राज्य क्षितिज की सीमा तक सुरक्षित रहें। समुद्र तक फैली पृथ्वी पर हमारा दीर्घायु अखंड राज्य हो। हमारा राज्य सृष्टि के अंत तक सुरक्षित रहें।

• चतुर्थ: मंत्र
  ॐ तदप्येषः श्लोकोभिगीतो।
  मरुतः परिवेष्टारो मरुतस्यावसन् गृहे।
  आविक्षितस्य कामप्रेर्विश्वेदेवाः सभासद इति ॥
  ॥ मंत्रपुष्पांजली समर्पयामि ॥

भावार्थ

राज्य के लिए और राज्य की कीर्ति गाने के लिए यह श्लोक गाया गया है। अविक्षित के पुत्र मरुती, जो राज्यसभा के सर्व सभासद है ऐसे मरुतगणों द्वारा परिवेष्टित किया गया यह राज्य हमें प्राप्त हो यहीं कामना।

Hymn - 1 - Pushpanjali Mantra

• om yajñena yajñamayajanta devāh
  Stāni dharmāṇi prathamānyāsan।
  
  Te ha nākam mahimānaḥ sachante
  Yatra pūrve sādhyāḥ santi devāḥ॥

Meaning:

It is by means of performing sacrifices that the gods have accomplished their sacrifices. These sacrifices were the earliest of the observances. When these exalted ones attained the heavens, they found there the older gods who ascended to the heavens earlier the same way by performing sacrifices. Though typically applied to fire sacrifices or Yajnas, the essence of this mantra says only through sacred deeds like puja and vrat people can attain the best in this world and the best in the other worlds.

Hymn - 2 - Pushpanjali Mantra

• Om rājādhirājāya prasahyasāhine।
  namovayam vaiśravaṇāya kurmahe।
  Sa me kāmānkāmakāmāya mahyam।
  kāmeśvaro vaiśravaṇo dadātu Kuberāya vaiśravaṇāya।
  mahārājāya namaḥ॥

Meaning:

We bow to the Lord who can be addressed with different names as Rājādhirāja Prasahyasāhī and Vaiśravaṇa (these are some vedic names for gods). May the supreme one namely he, Kāmeshvara Vaiśravaṇa, bless me so that I get all my desires fulfilled. I bow down to Mahārāja, the most powerful and venerable one who is also called as Vaiśravaṇa Kubera.

Hymn - 3 - Pushpanjali Mantra

• Om svasti sāmrājyam bhaujyam svārājyam
  vairājyam pārameṣṭhyam rājyam Māhārājyamādhipatyamayam।
  samantaparyāyī syātsārvabhaumaḥ sārvāyuṣa Antādāparārdhāt
  pṛthivyai samudraparyantāyā ekarāḷiti॥

Meaning:

This mantra is typically chanted during the coronation of kings wishing them all good success and also reminding them that they have to abide by dharma or righteousness in all their dealings and performance so that they remain meritorious. The hymn lists out the various wonderful achievements like sovereignty, independence, eminence, success, ruler of the worlds and a long life of health and happiness.

Hymn – 4 - Pushpanjali Mantra

• Tadapyeṣa śloko 'bhigīto।
  marutaḥ pariveṣṭāro maruttasyāvasan gṛhe॥
  Avikśitasya kāmaprerviśve devāḥ sabhāsada iti॥

Meaning:

The gods described as Maruts are witness to the concluding ceremonies of the events where distribution of the benefits of the event is done to all concerned.

Pushpanjali mantras are highly symbolic and meaningful. In essence, they pray the central deity of a puja or vrat to give away blessings in abundance and thereby help the devotee achieve the purpose of the puja. Thus, these mantras can give the intended results of any puja or worship.
